(Copyright Mel Steinhauer All Rights Reserved) Along the beautiful Florida Panhandle coastline between Destin and Panama City, you will find several freshwater lakes. Looking deep into this calm scene and a golden horizon, which on the other side of the dunes lies the Gulf of Mexico.

I created this image from my original photograph taken on location by adding digital enhancements, textures and painterly style effects. These effects and image details will become more visible by clicking inside the green magnifier square as the cursor is placed over the image.
