Description

Sunsets over the Adirondack mountains are so beautiful to see but they are hard to catch.
When near the top of a peak, we need to save enough time to hike back down before it grows too dark.

So the sun sets while we are hiking the trail, leaving only the trees to witness the breathtaking beauty at the summit.

I wonder what that view is like from the top? I envision a lone tree as The Witness to multiple, glorious sunsets that only it can see.
